My office uses SSL encryption for secure password-protected transmission. This practice is in compliance with the file transfer requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA).
My office provides distant-site interpretive radiology reports. Providing distant-site interpretive radiology reports does not establish the doctor-patient relationship. Requests for communication from anyone other than the referring heath care provider will not be recognized.
